His goal was simple: fix the mistakes, bring order back to the books, and give owners the peace of mind they deserve.

James started his career in Atlanta, working as a lead bookkeeper for a CPA firm before becoming the accounting manager for a multimillion-dollar apparel wholesaler. Over the years, he developed a strong niche in real estate and construction bookkeeping, while also serving law firms, contractors, and small businesses across the country.
In founding The QuickBooks Guy, LLC, James has helped over 500+ business owners clean up their books, catch up on years of missed entries, and keep their records accurate and up to date.
